Current breeding is developing our program in next decade. Both parents are light runners with strong hunting instincts, rapid catchers moving in dual suspended gallop.  Both parents are descendant of Quijote line. Origin of coming litter is half open of both sites in mother lines.

Conformation and character of both parents are typically for primal Spanish Alaunts. I hope for very well established litter of long distance gallopers with great hunting and catching skills. Negra is very noble in shape, muscled in balanced athleticism, has awesome endurance and speed. Ultimate hunting and catching instincts were perfectly transmitted to Negra by her father Hito. Hunting in large range is characteristic for Negra’s grandmother Estrella. Tenacity and high driven mother of Negra – Etma Villa Canar completed her origin in female’s ancestors. Etma is daughter of our dog Brytan and Veleta. Veleta represents nice combine of one the oldest and most envolved kennel in alano breeding – Guadana and one of most progressive kennel Noite.

Father of the litter – Sznurek is young male from litter Hilo x Chula. Hilo is our best descendant of Quijote line personifies all characteristics of alano . Last year Hilo spent in Sevilla to mounting local females. Chula represent old line of Encartationes dogs with very noble character and light conformation. Some sources linked this line to dogs from early recuperation like Txackur,  Alaju Godo and his grandson Rambo de Ponce Leon. Sznurek is pretty self-confident, very social, hunting and has even better conformation and expression than his father. Is very fast and moves in perfect dual suspended gallop. This breeding is possible because of consequence work in last 12 years and focusing on primal alano characteristic as the goal

Etma was breed before with Vengo Hito and heroffspring presented high quality in all traits of Alano. Sznurek was breed aswell with Etma’s daughter Negra. These pups were excellent indicating a very good transmission of wanted traits by Sznurek.

 Sznurek is still a young male from litter Hilo x Chula. Hilo is our best descendant of Quijote line and personifies all characteristics of Alano . His breed with Chula was intended outcross. Chula represent the old line of Encartationes dogs with very noble character and light conformation. Some sources linked this line to dogs from early recuperation like Txackur, Alaju Godo and his grandson Rambo de Ponce Leon.

 Outcross extends the gene pool and well done not reduce typically qualities. It is possible by crossing two separately, well established, and not close related lines. Sznurek embodiest he desired effect. Sznurek is pretty self-confident, very social, hunting, and hasthe even better conformation and expression than his father. He is very fast and moves in a perfect dual suspended gallop.

 

Etma de Villacanar combined lines of the famous Guadana kennel and Quijote line. Father of Etma- Vengo Brytan ( Quijote x Calabria) wasone of the firsts excellent descendant of Quijote – perfect shape in big sizewith great potential to work. Brytan was used as a stud male by our friend Danielin Spain. Brytan transmitted worse than his father, but some of his offspringwas good. Especially in combination with Guadana line – an example could be Sura de laGuadana. Etma’s origin of mother site based on work of Noite kennel.David (Noite owner) breeds in determination to recover primal shape of Alano.He trusts to the line of Guadana as one of the most devoted breeders to Alano in entire Spain. Antonio Artero ( Guadania owner) work for decades firmed to originalSpanish alaunt, impassive to trends and modern standards. Etma is rustic inshape, with great agility, rapid and well work with cattle. Oscar – owner Villa Canar kennel is focusing on a similar aim as us – for primal Alano with excellentrunning abilities and hunting in radical terrain and heat of southern Spanish Highland.

Breeding of Etma and Sznurek is the answer of the optimal line-breeding with a balance of no limitation the diversity of the genes and positive amplifying of line’sdistinctive characteristics.
